I remember when I first got Ali, you thought I was mad and said "what did you get an ankle biter for". Your only experiences with Jack Russell's had not been good ones and you thought I had made the wrong choice but within one week you had changed your mind. Ali had completely melted your heart and you thought she was "a silly thing". Soon it had become a common occurrence for Ali to be fed the leftover meat from the Sunday roast, you were her carer during the day and she was spoilt rotten. She was definitely a Grandaddy's girl and gave you lots of cuddles. Ali is nearly 11yrs old and she is still my little girl and spoilt rotten, she is still "a silly thing" , still loves the leftover meat from a roast and still loves cuddles. 

Every xmas my Dad would wear a silly xmas tie

God saw you getting tired,
And a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you,
And whispered 'Come To Me'.

Your golden heart stopped beating,
Your hard working hands now rest.
God broke my heart to prove to me,
He only takes the best.

The moment that you died,
My heart was torn it two.
One side filled with heartache,
The other died with you.

With tears upon my cheeks.

Remembering you is easy,
I do it everyday.
