As a little girl he was one of my first crushes he was so handsome and smoked that pipe that always smelled so good. As an adult I had the privilege to get to know what a wonderful, loving person he was. Mike and I were honored to travel to Italy with him and Aunt Mary and shared a lot of laughs good food and lots of wine RIP Uncle Mike you'll remain in our hearts always,

Dear Mike,

You didn’t miss a beat, that’s for sure! Though I wasn’t your daughter or even your daughter-in-law, I always felt you took an interest. You always wished the best for me and the kids. I need to thank you for that.  Thanks for the rich memories of You and Mary sharing your wonderful children and for embracing my sister! I learned a lot more about Italian families from you all! Love you, Mike. Hopefully you are hugging Micheal and your parents tight about now!

The first time I met Mr. Mike he picked me up from the airport when I came up to visit my Mom, Jacqui and her wife Cyn (Mr. Mike’s daughter). He struck me as a man with a lot to say and the history and wisdom to back up what he said. I felt an instant connection. The trip to Mom’s was fun and interesting and he was quite the entertainer with a heck a sense of humor. I always looked forward to visiting with him and Ms. Mary every time I came up and I’ll miss the man. He was definitely one of a kind.
