I will use this page to say Thank You to my Aunt Patsy, Aunt Cindy & Aunt Karen. Without you three beautiful ladies people would not have the space to give a comment, a picture, or a tribute to my father. With your love you made this possible. We all miss you dad. Thank you ladies

One for the ages

April 10, 2021
The year was 1987 & I was 14yrs old. My pops just bought a Dodge conversion van so he wanted to take a several HR trip to visit his brother for the weekend. I remember him, his wife, his daughter Maureen & myself taking the drive. Once we got there & settled in we enjoyed the rest of the day relaxing sorta. The next morning my pops was going to run into town for some things & told me to go with him. On the way back from town he pulls over & tells me " Ok now you drive back " being that I was only 14 I was 100% thrilled yet nervous but definitely did not want to disappoint. So acting like it was no big deal I said " Ok I can do this " so we switched seats, he told me to adjust mirrors, start the van & drive. I did. My first driving experience was given to me from my father at a non legal age with out any license, permit, or anything remotely legal! He told me " You did good I told you driving wasn't hard " He always did like telling people when he was right. Later on that van became iconic. Thank you Dad for teaching me the most valuable and important things in life. You was always there for me without question. I was lucky to have such a kick ass old man who was admired by many. You truly was a local legend who is missed and could never be forgotten.
