I stayed and stayed and stayed, wasn't about to get out of that water. Mike came into the courtyard, assesed the problem quickly, walked up to me and asked if he could walk me home. The hardest thing I ever did was step out of that pool but it was like I was entranced, compelled. I had to know this person. He walked me to my apt., asked if he could see me again. We were inseprable from that point.
