"I have had a wonderful year and I can't wait for high school. I would like to attend UNC on a sports scholarship. I will play for Roy Williams playing basketball. I would also play baseball for Coach Fox. I will have a 3.5 GPA. I would like to be a pitcher. I will also get a Morehead City scholarship.
I will go on to play for the Yankees and I will play for the Detroit Pistons."

I only met Michael once; on his 15th birthday, he shared his birthday cake and cookies with me and his Mom and grandparents.
My favorite story about Michael is from when he was sick and had a tutor. She wanted him to use the word 'fascinating' in a sentence, and he said "You are so un-fascinating!" What a character, showing strength even through the toughest times. Did he get that from his Mom?
