Hey Murk, 12 years and we’re still around. Don’t know how much longer but at the moment, we’re still around. Your memory is just as solid to us today as though it was yesterday. Had a conversation with Courtney earlier in the evening and we reminisced about the 50th birthday celebrations each of us brothers shared with one another. Bills out in Tucson, mine at Treetops and yours in Myrtle Beach. What a great celebration each of them were and the memories we created. She reminded me of the video she saw with you behind the camera, two sheets to the wind, of Bill’s 50th where you sat next to me and videoed the gathering at the restaurant table. Mom and Aunt Jane were to my immediate left and you on my right. Bill on the other end of the table flanked by Sharon, Billy and Steve. What a time we had that evening. When Courtney reminded me of that video I was immediately there. It brought a lasting smile as I recalled that time we were all together and having such fun. But now, as I write this, I am back to the sobering reality of our loss this last 12 years and the tears flow. The web site music and the empty vodka glass next to me not helpful. Ah, but there is the inevitable down the road. Not quite yet Murk cause we still have some livin’ to do but down the road Brother, down the road.
