This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Michael Fiorda, 68 years old, born on June 26, 1952, and passed away on June 20, 2021. We will remember him forever.
Michael is survived by his loving partner of 45 years Robert Amore, his dear Father Domenick Fiorda, sisters, Debby Fiorda, Denise Tamuts and Vicky Ball , and brother Vince Fiorda, his Aunt Amelia Register and lots of nieces and nephews whom he loved and adored, and many of his cousins and friends.
Michael was the manager of the 7-Eleven in Fort Meyers Florida where he was beloved by all who met him and especially those who worked for him. Mike was fun-loving compassionate and generous. He loved music, theater, was a great singer and loved playing piano in his younger years. He also loved acting in musicals and played the sousaphone in High School. He loved listening to show tunes, opera, and inspirational music and loved piano and singing.
He was the most adored person to all who knew him and had a heart for others in need and was often able to impact people in the most profound and positive ways. Mike truly lived life to the fullest enjoying especially having family and friends over to entertain and feed with his elaborate and delicious meals and hospitality enjoying immensely the simple pleasures of family and friends. As you can see by his picture he always had this smile.
He loved caring for his inside and outside cats and rescued the neighborhood kitty who told all her friends about Michaels house and where to get some good free food and water!
When he couldn't be together with us he enjoyed long talks on the phone talking all things spiritual and with meaning and depth with his family and friends. He lived well, laughed well and loved so well.
For so many the world is a better place because Michael was a part of it. The vitality of Michael's spirit no doubt will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew and loved him. Mikes loss is immeasurable but so is the love he left us with.
