Michael Lane Huff, 65, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Saturday, October 29th at UNC Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill.

A native of Granville County, the son of the late Rufus and Frances Lunsford Huff. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church, director of Granville Co. Farm Bureau for many years and was engaged in farming.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 1st at Corinth Baptist Church by Rev. Gary Brummitt. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Surviving are a sister, Wanda H. Haskins(Rick), a brother, Darrell Huff(Linda), a niece Lori Haskins, two nephews, David Haskins and Dalton Huff, all of Oxford. He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara H. Bumpass.

Visitation 7:00-8:30 PM Monday evening, October 31, 2011 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at the home of Darrell Huff.
