Michael Joseph Tracy of Cherry Hill, New Jersey passed away peacefully in his sleep February 7, 2016. He was born on April 24, 1971 in Vincenza, Italy.

Michael was predeceased by his beloved mother Ledia. He is survived by his father John Tracy and his wife Sharon of Lyme, Connecticut, his two sons Benjamin and Samuel and their mother Patti, all of Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He is also survived by his brother Alex Tracy and his three children Andrew, Matthew and Elizabeth of Apex, North Carolina and sister Pamela Tracy of Savannah, Georgia

Michael graduated from South Kent School in Kent, CT. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut.

Michael was a respected Inside Account Executive at PHH Mortgage where he was known to make the work day a little more fun and interesting through his sense of humor and warm disposition.

Growing up by the Long Island Sound and Connecticut River, Mike had a passion for the water. He shared a great love of sailing with his father which in turn he taught his boys. Countless summertime adventures focused on boating, fishing, crabbing and fostering that devotion to the water in Ben and Sam.

Michael maintained lifelong friendships and cherished annual gatherings with his childhood friends and family. Mike was a phenomenal chef and this talent for cooking went hand in hand with his amazing gift for entertaining. He hosted friends at his father’s home in Hamburg Cove creating memorable meals with great ease.

Internment will be Saturday May 28, 2016 at 12:30 am. Location is the Eight Mile River Cemetery in Lyme, CT.
