Michael Larry Hamby, age 35, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Larry Hamby; grandparents, Major and Ima Hamby, Belon and Dessie Holtzclaw. 
He is survived by his daughter, Gracie Hamby; mother, Sandra Hamby; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Lori Hamby; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Kerry Vanderpool; and numerous nieces, nephew, uncles, aunts and other relatives survive. 
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 6, at 2 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home with the Rev. Rodney Allen and the Rev. Ruel Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home Friday, Nov. 5, from 5-9 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 6, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
