Mr. Starnes was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 25, 1965, the son of the late Linda Gail Stapp Starnes Furgerson and David Dallas Starnes.

He was a member of Glenn Baptist Church. After graduating from high school he joined the United States Marine Corp where he received the Sharpshooter Badge, Letter of Appreciation (2), and the Good Conduct Medal. He had been employed by the Lowe Engineering Company where he was a very specialized surveyor. Anthony was a fun loving young man who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a loving father. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Monica Starnes of Carrollton, GA.; son, Zachary Starnes of Dahlonega, GA.; sister, Linda Rogers (Richard) of Franklin, GA.; two brothers, David Starnes of Glenn, GA., and Chris Starnes of Gay, GA.; step father, Joe Furgerson of Franklin, GA.; and step children, Eric and Rachael Davenport both of Carrollton, GA…
