I knew Michelle 30 years ago, when she lived east of the airport. I remember pulling some furniture out of the dumpster behind her apartment, that I held onto for ... geez ... probably 20 years. And her pet ball pythons. (I had forgot about the wolf society, but remember now.) Erica, when she was little and had the bad ear problems. Dani, and my son, making a "comic". (I forget who did the script and who the drawings.) I just found out about this today, and though Michelle and I had lost touch, that does not diminish the pain of her loss. It hurts. I bawled like a baby. God bless you all, I hope you are doing well.

We had a complicated relationship. Yet, when we needed each other we would sit on the phone for an hour. Sometimes I don’t know that I tried hard enough. Our bond may have been different, but it was special. I miss being able to call you when I’m lonely. I love you, I miss you. ❤️❤️❤️

I never met your mom in person but she was there when I needed someone. We talked on the phone many times. She helped me thru a very rough weekend and set up a go fund me for a personal matter. I am very grateful for her time and compassion when she didn't even know me. I will forever love and miss her.

She understood what it meant to struggle and overcome, but she never let that turn her bitter. Instead, she used her own experiences to find ways to love and support others going through their own tough times.

She made this world a better place and we were all so fortunate to have her, even if only for a short time. She is truly missed every single day.

Michelle was a wonderful human being I met your mother when you lived over on 82nd St. and after you moved she kept in touch with me. She even took the time to bring Ace up to House of Harley while I was working so that I could visit with him she knew how much I love that dog. Although not nearly as much as she did. She will always be in my memories.

She was like a mother figure to me when Danielle Palmer Draper and I would play together as kids, chasing around the ice cream truck in her neighborhood in South Milwaukee. As a college kid I remember many good conversations at the kitchen table, petting her beautiful dogs, hanging out with the both of you. Truly a wonderful woman and she is dearly missed.

Michelle
My sister and best friend
Right up until the very end.
I’m glad you’re in pain no more
You walked right through heavens door.

You help people without hesitation
Spreading love and joy throughout this nation.
As we all gather to celebrate your life
God help us all through this strife.

You were a mom, wife, sister, grandma and friend
Your love and joy was not just a trend
You loved people and our furry friends with all your heart
Right from the very start.

When people want to talk you lend your ear
No matter the distance or right here
We will miss your laughter and smiles
Our memories will last for many miles.

My sister is a blessing who fills our hearts with love
She continues to do so from above
She helps you through your ups and downs
Always with a smile and not a frown

Your spirit will eternally shine
My beloved sister of mine
Forever in our hearts you will stay
As we celebrate you here today.

We love you to the moon and back
I promise that’s a fact
Watch over us all from above
Continue to send us all your love.

Our thoughts for you will never cease
May you rest in eternal peace
Consider this my tribute to you
We are thankful for all you do

Where do I begin writing a tribute to my sister?  Growing up we had our differences as all siblings do. My sister, Michelle, was not only my sister but she was my best friend. Michelle loved her furry four legged friends. She was an ambassador for “A Dog’s Purpose”, A Wolf Rescue in WI and other rescue groups. Michelle loved all animals even .

My sister was also my biggest fan and cheerleader for “I run 4.” She was the one who encouraged me to sign up for the group. She loved watching Kalob’s and my relationship grow. She loved and supported “our journey.” Michelle ran for “Angel Ava.”

Michelle also discovered running and she loved it. She shared my passion and the sport.

Michelle will be “forever in our hearts and her memory will live on.” Rest In Peace and fly high. I love you to the and back. Until we meet again.

My mom left us at the age of 61 and was taken way too early. My mom loved animals especially volunteering at the Timberwolf Preservation Society which I did along side of her for 15 years. My mom was an avid dog lover and fan of Bruce Cameron. She was always able to put on a smile even when the pain for her was overbearing. She suffered from chronic pain and underlying mental health issues that she did not share the extent with her loved ones. My mom fought for many years silently not wanting to burden her family as to the amount of pain no one could take away. My mom has chosen to live where she is in no more pain and is able to be care free and the person she said that had been lost many years before. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren that she was so proud to talk about and share pictures of. My mom was always there for someone in their darkest hours when she herself was in pain and not doing well.
Fly high mom and know the love and relationship we shared can not be broken as I know we will see each other again. The pain is unbearable but I push on as you would want it no other way.

Her Life
June 13, 2021
I was lucky to have the relationship with my mom where she was my best friend. She was the person I could turn to no matter what and she was always there. She was at the birth of her first grandchild and was able to hold her within minutes of birth and she had the biggest smile on her face.
My mom was able to be with the man of her dream for over 20 years who became my father and loved her dearly.
Her love and passion for animals is what made her happy. She had the honor the read books for a variety of authors prior to their release and give feedback. She would get a book and not put it down until she was don’t with it.
My mom was brave, a fighter and true warrior.

Sister from another Mother

Michelle,
My sister by choice.  Your love of a Dog's Purpose I believe in my heart you are Bailey Bailey Bailey and making a difference in lives still to this day.  Your kind heart, love of dogs, bright smile.  The world was a better place with you in it, it's a better place with your memory.  I never got to hug you, some day I will, it will be the best hug ever.

Missing you

June 21, 2021
It has been almost four months and I don’t know how to keep going some days. I have found some peace knowing you are no longer in pain but the selfish side of me just wants you back. I miss your voice and having that support you always offered me and so many other people. Even in your darkest times you were there to help other people and cared so much about all of those around you. You helped people you never met in person but would be there to support them anytime day or night. I am lucky to have you as my mom and will never forget all you did for me and will ensure your grandchildren know how much you loved them. I remember you being in the room when I gave birth to Aurora and the smile you had on your face being able to hold her minutes after her birth. When you found out your next grandchild came into our lives through adoption followed by the twins. I wish you were here to see them grow but I know you look down from above. Your loss is something I struggle with daily. Love you always.
