My apologies for not responding sooner to Mike's passing, but please know you and yours have been in my thoughts and prayers. Seeing his obit in the GTF paper was truly a sad shock. Just a few days before that I had come across a picture of your wedding party and thought how fun it would be to catch up on how our lives had all played out? His obit was such a great tribute to him and warmed my heart to learn some details of the wonderful life and family you two created. Several of our class mates get together the third Thursday of each month for lunch. If you are ever in GTF on one it would be great to have u join us. We do change location each time, so check with one of us if it ever works out. My sincere condolences and prayers for healing as you cling to the good memories that held you two together for so many years. Penny Bowlin Meeks
Susie, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. All my best, Christy Norman (Hutchins)

Susie and family, may your grief and sad feelings of loss be quickly overwhelmed by happy memories and warm laughter at recollections of the fun times.
I knew Mike mostly in his "political years" and was so pleased when he became Sen. Mike Sprague. Mike did a great job for his district, standing up for them and what he knew was right.
Mike, you left to early. God Speed.
May the peace of God that transcends all understanding be with Mike's family.
All my best,
Judge Russ Fagg
So sorry to hear about Mike, I have many happy memories of you two. Was another time in our journey in life growing up in Great Falls - School days! What fun times those were!
Happy Trails Mike!
Although we know heaven has welcomed a very special person we still have some sadness. May you and your family know this and the blessing of God as you move forward in another one of our journey's in this life.

Where to begin is the question? Mike and Susie were best friends with my parents, Bob and Sandy Clapshaw. Our families spent a significant amount of time together. My sister, Shelly and I would love to go to Billings to stay at the Sprague's house. Mike entertained us very well! We would start by swimming in their swimming pool and then head into the sauna. Finally, Mike would provide us with coins to play their pinball machines in the basement. This would provide us with hours of entertainment! At some point during our stay we would be treated to a free tanning session at Sun Haven Tanning Salon. Our Billings trip just wouldn't be complete without visiting the Sprague's Ponderosa Pawn Shop to be mezmerized by all the jewelry. Mike was always very involved and loved to entertain Shelly and me. We were captivated by all of Mike's stories and experiences. Everything we did Mike had a story or an experience to share with us. I also have many memories of our neighboring cabins at Holter Lake. Mike and Susie's cabin had all the fun toys! I envision that Mike danced his way into Heaven. He was an amazing dancer who was definitely noticed when he stepped on the dance floor. I just have so many "GREAT" memories of Mike. Mike and Susie have been apart of every significant milestone in my life. I loved Mike very much and will always have a special place in my heart for him. He will be missed but not forgotten, thanks for all the wonderful memories!
Love,
Katie Clapshaw McCluey
