my son, I don't know where to begin. never did I ever thought I'd be writing this tribute to you. As I reminisce back when you were born how happy i was to know I had a son back then it was tears of joy and now it is tears of sorrow. Your father and I were always PROUD of you no matter what you did. You were such a hard worker and a loving husband and wonderful father. Family was always your priority. You were always there for anybody who needed you.I will never forget the last words we both said to each other that I love you and you said I love you too . How hard it's gonna be never to see or hear your voice again, but I have my memories of you in my heart that will never go away and will always remember you. You were a loving son, husband and father. your memories will live on forever. The pain I am suffering will never go away for I love you so much and keep asking why. we will always be there for the family cause we are family. How I will miss you terribly but I'm not saying goodbye because one day I will see you again. With all my love Son

His Life
October 4, 2021
Dedicated father and husband Mike Devivi, 48 of Beachwood, passed away suddenly on September 30.  Born in Union, Mike grew up in Brick where he played as an all star football player at Brick Memorial High School. He then settled in Beachwood, 20 years ago.

Mike loved fishing, relaxing on the beach and trips to the mountains with his family. He was a life long fan of the Redskins football team. But above all else Mikes greatest passion was his love for his children and wife.  Whether it be cheering them on at games playing Yahtzee, building something or betting on something.  Family time was Mikes priority and joy. He was a great friend to many, always ready to drop everything and lend a hand. He will be missed by so many.

He was predeceased by his much loved Grandfather Guido Devivi, his greatly missed sister-in-law Carrie Devivi and his good friend and brother-in-law Hank Steinbach

Mike leavesbehind his loving wife Heather and his four adored children- Angelina,Mikey,Mia and Jessie.
He is also survived by his greatly loved parents Ruth and Michael Devivi and. brother Marc Devivi

My Friend

October 6, 2021
I met Mike in the 5th grade, Mr. Petty’s class. I was new to the school and Mike befriended me rather quickly. We would always get in trouble daily for laughing in class and cracking jokes.  He was a Redskins fan and I was a Cowboys fan. Despite that difference we became good friends.  We went on to High school and played football together for 4 years and Mike was one of the best players in the shore and that I’ve ever played with, a great teammate.
Mike was a great friend, a great family man and a great human being. He was definitely taken too soon from this world and will be sorely missed by everyone who he touched in his life. Til we meet again buddy.
