Well another year has past. It's been difficult, but I keep pushing through. I take time to reflect on what you've told me over the years as I grew up, and still need you from time to time. And as long as I have memory of you, you will never truly be gone, but will be always be missed.

Time goes so fast. Remembering all the fun times Mike and I had in our childhood and at Salton Sea, he taught me to play "For what it's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield on the guitar. Yes, what a reunion we will all have in heaven.

Happy Belated Birthday Big Guy... My Brother went to Heaven on June 18th the same day as Maddie did.. So you are in good company and old friends from the Sea.. Miss you all :(

you know I think of Mike from time to time and I sometimes think I see him.. I know that sounds weird but he is a hard man to forget. .He touched a lot of people's lives on this earth and he still touch lives while he is in Heaven.. RIP miss ya

Cont.. Even after we moved away, anytime we seen Mike, he would always give me a bear hug.. He was always the gentle giant in my eyes. So many memories are flooding back and all good ones :) Sad that he left this world too soon but he is in Heaven with his Mama and I know he enjoyed their visits :) Gone but not Forgotten

Mike was part of the ole gang that grew up in Desert Shores. I remember all the times he played in the band with the guys. Even after we all moved away, he would still go down to see his Mama and ride in the Christmas Parade, toys for tots.. He was a proud man, a kind man, you can see it in his eyes. Truly blessed to have known such a beautiful person, inside and out. He will be missed :(

I'm so glad I got to see Uncle Mike on Christmas. I knew he was in pain and he made the sacrifice to come anyways. Thanks Uncle Mike, rest in peace and keep grandpa company. xoxo -nessa
