Mildred Karen Perkins, 61, passed away on May 31, 2020 asleep in her bed.
An outdoor service will be held at St. Mary's Episcopal Church at 801 The Trace West, Jasper, AL 35504, on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., with an outdoor reception to follow. All of her friends and family are asked to come to say their final respects. She loved you all dearly.
Karen Perkins was preceded in death by Anatol Quin Perkins, Mildred Loraine Perkins, and her husband, Jimmy Williams.
She is survived by her sons, Joshua Daniel Blackwell of Sumiton, Ala., and Jeremie Kirkwood of Homewood Ala.; her brother, Louis Perkins of Haleyville Ala.; grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart, Whitten Lee Blackwell, Todd Andrew Headley, Hunter Joshua Blackwell, Jordan Mathew Garrett, Tyler Lee Marshal, Damron (Blackwell); and her daughters-in-law, Tanya Machelle Garrett (Blackwell) and Christy Lee Glass (Blackwell).
In lieu of sending flowers the family asks that you donate money to her family, but if you would prefer to send flowers please send them to 801 The Trace West, Jasper, AL 35504, care of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.
Mom, we all love you and miss you. I think of you every day. Rest now, sweet lady, in the arms of our Lord now from this day forward and until the end of days.
