Sadly Millie Passed Away At The Age of 81 at her Home in Bargoed Which She Has Lived At Since her teenage years.

Originally From Board Street, Pontlottyn Her Family Moved to Bargoed when their house was being knocked Down.

She Worked for Smiths In Rhymney For A long time and was well liked and had a lot of friends at work.

She Lost Her Father In 1952 in a Tragic Accident at Bargoed Pit When she was only 21.

As Her Mam got Older she became very ill so Millie gave up her life really to take care of her mam as she didn't want her going in a home and as her brothers and sisters had family's of their own to look after and as Auntie Millie never married and still lived at home she felt she should be there for her mam like her mam was for her and her brothers and sisters.

She Took Care of her mam right up and till she died at age 92 in May of 1989.

Millie didn't live much of a social life in her later years but she always enjoyed a Day Trip out in The School Summer holidays with her nieces and nephews to Weston Super Mare till she got too ill to go far anymore.

Millie was a well liked person and was the rock of the family. She was always there to help and never had a bad bone in her body.

She Will Be Sadly Missed By All And Hopefully she is now at Peace with her Mam, Dad and Brother and Sisters.
