Milton Reid, 74, went to heaven on July 4, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Kay Lide Reid, and two sons, David Milton and George Samuel (Karla Kelly Reid). Dr. Reid had 4 grandchildren--Savannah Rose Reid (17) of Hinesville, GA and 3 grandsons, Miles (12), Griffin (10), and Stewart (8), all from Birmingham.
Milton graduated from Mississippi State University in 1968 and from the University of AL dental school in 1972. He was a dentist at Veterans' Administration hospitals in Georgia and North Carolina for over 30 years, until he retired in 2003.
Milton is best known for his love of the Lord Jesus Christ. His passion was Bible study, and in retirement he often studied 3-4 hours each day.
