I've been without you 21 years.
In the beginning, I came to lift your cloud. As I grew my mission to make you proud.
And rush I did so you would see me succeed. Fervently, I prayed that your wisdom, kindness, love, and good nature never concede.
Yet, in spite of all my needing and pleading separation day arrived. Body alive, but heart died.

Love replaced by grief, then anger, then rage! Why?!?!! 12 years a slave. Little joys, but 12 years rock bottom.

Year 13 brought a small light ray. God was blamed less this day.

14 - 20 all a blur. Still living without her.

21 came now, anger is reverted to pain.
Without you longer than with.
This world lost the second most precious gift.

21 years ago on this cursed day...my life thrown into disarray.

Now 2 attempt to provide a ray of light. Watch them work day and night.

One day, the heart that once was may again exist. This reunion day will pull me from the abyss.
So for now, I hold your memories dear as my way to keep you near.

-Love Always

I still think of you daily. I miss you more than anyone knows. Only God and you unrestrained the hole  in my heart. I still take your advice and carry you in my spirit. You are my love.

2/28/02 forever changed our family. Since that day we have never been the same. I still miss you! I love you and I still try to live in a way that would make you happy. Now you have 7 out of 9 of your children. I wonder how you feel about that. I keep you with me in my heart. I tell my children of you and teach the lessons u taught me. As I speak of you I still cry. No one could have ever surpassed you as a lady, mother, grandmother, and especially friend. I love u yesterday, today, and always.

Grandmama, the world became so dim the day you left me. As a tot, I use to pray that I would never see a day without you. I love you so much still. You were the most meek, kind, loving, wonderful person I could have ever known. I thank God you were mine. I love you more and forever.

My grandma graduated the top of her class. She told me back then in science class, the boys did all experiments behind close doors and reported their findings to the girls. She was so smart that she still does higher then all of them!
