The Life of Carolyn Smith

January 25, 2022
Carolyn was born on January 24th 1950 at General Hospital of Cincinnati Ohio to her parents Helen M. Frison and Robert Lee Morgan. Carolyn was a student at Sands Elementary, Samuel Ach Junior High and Taft High School where she graduated in 1970.Carolyn had big dreams of modeling, singing traveling and being a big-time manager. Carolyn did travel once a small trip to Detroit that she enjoyed and, sang a few times in local talent shows. Oh yes, she can sing! Friends and family use to call her “lil Mary Wells” back in the days. Among a few other places of employment, Carolyn worked for the Carousel Inn as well as Club Chef. Carolyn was a very hard worker and was dedicated to her work. Carolyn always liked to make sure she had control of things she had to do and wanted everything to be taken care of. Carolyn loved to shop for clothes and things she needed, she loved her ice cream, her chips and soda pop, and she loved her some old western movies! Among all things, Carolyn was a very private person; she enjoyed her own time in her own space but, she always made time for her three children Bernard, Helen, and Maurice whom she loved very dearly and shared a close relationship with them as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carolyn had a special friend who was always helpful and always there in times of need named Larry Brown. Mr. Brown is greatly appreciated and indeed a true friend.

There is no secret to anyone that Carolyn loved the Lord. Hallelujah! She did not mind giving praise to the Lord, she always told everyone “ I am a child of God”. Carolyn spread her wings and traveled home on January 11th 2022; Home where there is peace, nor sorrow, nor tears, nor pain, Revelation 21:4

Carolyn is preceded in death by her father Robert Lee Morgan, and (siblings): Aaron Morgan, Cleo Teresa Allen, Anthony Morgan and is survived by her mother Helen M. Frison, (children):Bernard Morgan, Helen Morgan, and Maurice Smith.
