THE ROAD TO GRACE

For by grace, you are saved through Faith and not of yourselves: It is thegift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast – Ephesians 2: 8-9

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free

I’m following the path God has laid you see.

I took his hand when I heard Him call

I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day

To laugh, to love, to work, to play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way

I found that peace at the close of day.

If my parting has left a void

Then fill it with remembered joys.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,

O yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow

I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow

My life’s been full, I savored much

Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief

Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief,

Lift up your hearts and peace to thee

God wanted me now: He set me free…

He’s only gone on ahead of you,
Not just left you behind.
Although you can’t be with him right now,
He lives on in your heart and mind.

The day will come when you’ll meet again
On Heaven’s distant shore,
And the two of you will walk hand in hand
Together forever more.
Condolences to the Family!

We will miss Mitch! We loved his vibrant and positive personality. He was cool and well dressed. His laughter was so contagious. His smile was good for the soul. He had a way of making you enjoy being around him. He was such a loving guy. Mitch - You will forever remain in our hearts - Always

I remember one summer my mother sent me and my sister to go stay with my Aunty Selina in Florida. We were so excited. Mitch would play the lottery every morning. He would ask my sister and I for some number to quess and he would faithfully use them, and if our numbers were picked he would share whatever he won that day with us. I also remember Mitch would come home exhausted from work at times and one day he fell asleep standing up looking in the fridge. My sister and I would laugh because we though he was looking for something to eat. Whole entire time he was sleeping lol. R.I.P Mith. I'm so glad I share a memory with you. Rest easy.

This is very difficult for me to do since I loved you so much, but I’m writing to say goodbye. You were the love of my life and your love still shines bright. The memories we share comfort me every day although you are no longer with me in life. I still feel your love. Our love was our bond, even death could not break. Until we meet again.
