His Life

Reverend Mobley Ray Clements was born on March 8, 1951 at the Columbus Medical Center of Columbus, Georgia.  He was the son of the late William and Mrs. Ozella Whitehead-Clements.  Mobley departed this life on September 26, 2014 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital, Newnan, Georgia.

Reverend Clements accepted Christ as his personal Savior.  He joined Rehobeth Baptist Church at an early age where he became a Minister of the Gospel.  On August 23, 1971, Mr. Clements married his lovely wife Mrs. Dorothy Mae Tigner-Clements.  He graduated from Harris County High School in 1971.

Mr. Clements became Pastor of Spring Chapel Church, for eight years, located in Pine Mountain, Georgia until his health started to decline where he served as the pastor faithfully.

He was well known for singing, dancing, and giving God praises until God called him home.

He leaves to cherish a loving, devoted wife Dorothy Mae Tigner-Clements; four children, Anthony Clements (Tangela) of Albany, GA, LataynaEllison (Raven) of Greenville, GA, Donald Clements of Hogansville, GA, Christopher Clements (Trina); four grandchildren, Justin, Jasmine, Omarion, and Nicholas; two brothers, Robert Clemons (Helen) of Oxen Hill, MD, Eddie Clemons (Dorothy) of Nashville, TN; one sister, Mary Ann Clements Culver; three sister-in-laws, Lelia Clements of Atlanta, GA, Amy Clemons of Statesboro, GA, and Mary Gladys Clemons of Detroit, MI; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
