Mobolaji Babatunde ANIBABA was born on the 5th of August 1965 to the family of Mr Mutiu Olasoju Anibaba and Mrs Adebisi Ayesha Anibaba at the Island Maternity Hospital, Lagos Island, Lagos.

He attended St.Bernardette Nursery and Primary school Abeokuta and finished his primary school curriculum at the University of Lagos Staff School, Akoka in 1976. He then went to the Federal Government College Lagos, Ijanikin from 1976 to 1981 for his secondary education. He was admitted to the University of Lagos, Akoka for Architecture in 1982 graduating with a combined degree in Architecture and Environmental Design. 

Bolaji has always been very entrepreneurial. While he was at the university, he ran a business designing and producing t-shirts and polo-shirts, from which he earned considerable income as a student. Post graduation, Bolaji fell in love with the furniture and interior decor business that would form his major stock in trade for several years until he rediscovered his passion for architecture and construction which he was fully immersed in until his passing. 

For most of his professional life, he ran his own business. He however had the privilege of working for a few years with a number of organizations and on some important projects including Design Point Limited and the Living Faith church. With the latter, he was part of the Covenant University Project team, after which he was deployed to the National Projects team, building churches and schools around the country. After a few years, Bolaji resigned his position in 2005 to continue his entrepreneurial journey. He was scheduled to facilitate the construction of a major hotel project when his health began to deteriorate. 

Bolaji got born again in circa 1985 following a miraculous restoration of his health - a testimony he always shared with passion. He was a dedicated member and leader of the Loveward (campus) fellowship and a founding member of the Word of Faith Bible Church (now the Covenant Nation). For over 20 years, he was a member of the Winners Chapel, where he was ordained a Deacon and served as a Zonal Minister. He later joined the Highlife Church where he served on the pastoral team of the Community church responsible for reaching a specific demographic, not only with the Word of God, but with activities designed to build them up secularly. But more than his formal church activities, BJ was passionate about God, and about winning souls to Christ. In recent years, he made a habit of carrying out personal evangelistic outreaches along with a few friends every week. He believed that this was ultimately his Heavenly Father's heart and the crux of his journey of faith having had a vision of people burning in hell in his early days as a Christian. 

BJ loved football and dogs! When he attended his mother's funeral in England in August 1983, his dexterity and passion for the game resulted in an offer to join the junior team of Tottenham Hotspurs, which he could not accept as he had to return home for his education. 

He was a fitness freak as a young man, always encouraging his sibling and friends likewise. He was a loving, supportive and protective elder brother to Khalil and Farouk, and was loved by members friends and family alike. 

A caring and faithful husband and father, for over 22 years, Bolaji was married to Yetunde Anibaba nee Ajayi, and together have two lovely daughters Oluwakorede and Oluwatomisin Bolaji- Anibaba.
