Best friends with your younger sister. That made us even more close friends. Even though you were older than me, you were very humble and I enjoy our talks and all the times we spent together. It's so easy to draft a msg of congratulations but sooo very tough to align your thoughts to write a msg of condolence.
I and Akin once shared a room back in school when some day he came back from one of our usual holidays to announce the arrival of dupsy as fondly called by him.
Her entrance into Akin's life was a remarkable turnaround cos the level of commitment Akin put into the relationship from the very onset was phenomenal.
It was like Akin knew from the start that he's found his soulmate hence, nothing else mattered! When he finally brought her to visit we knew without been told that this one as come home to stay...her outward beauty was casual yet intriguing...if I recalled well, she had this near-permanent smile punctuated by a pair of understated dimples...she instantly stole our hearts. From thereon we knew Akin's search for everything wiliwili had come to an end. She became his ideal template for a woman in every discussion he had on the subject of looking for a good woman.
Every passing day we saw Akin gravitating more and more towards her hallowed company and bosom. It wasn't long before this pair became inseparable!!!
Akin's resistance for Dupe's gravitational pull became weaker and weaker by the day until we, his closest male chums and number 1 female bestie(nee Atinuke Domingo) realized we have lost his friendship to this rare woman!
She was to him, a woman of inestimable value whose beauty eclipsed every outward flaw! She completes him in a way no one would...Akin the charmer became charmed like one that had eaten the mythic "egbelekokomiyo" meaning "foul no dey refuse corn" so was the story of their lovely romance until he asked her to marry him...Dupe we're going to miss you dearly cos until your last breath you gave our friend an easy life, decorated with sweetest memories of a promise kept!!!

It took me days to muster the courage to write this tribute cos the suddenness and haste to join her maker beats my imagination!
Not even Akin's toughness prepared him for this reality!
The void Dupe has left behind cannot be filled in a single lifetime!
But I take solace in the fact that Akin my dear friend and brother has a deep relationship with his maker and understands the transition of a child of God to the after life to rest @ the feet of Jesus!

Akin your Dupsy lives on and she's counting on you to take her transition in good fate, trusting you to immortalize her memory by being there for your kids. She wouldn't have agreed to go if she for once doubted your capacity to carry on without her...
She never left...she lives on and smiling down on you and yours!!! Please we need you to be strong for us all!
Dupe went to rest, leaving the pain of this world but never left ourlives...

Dupe Taylor Akinbolu, if I was asked, I will say you lived a fulfilled life. Though it may be short, but not wasted. Beautiful diva you were, till the end. Your face still remains the same from secondary school, as pretty as always (Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School). You married a handsome husband whom you always praise in most of your post, blessed with beautiful children, good work and Facebook shows you had good, remarkable, fun life with your family. I guess that must be the way you have always wanted it. Family was topmost priority for you than several unnecessary friendship. Thumbs up girl!.
