This memorial website was created to honor her memory, she will be forever missed and never forgotten, we know her as "Momma"  "Doo"  "Shranka" "gramma" "ole gramma" "poppa's girshrend" or Doris, she was 76 when she was promoted to angel. She was born on January 11, 1940 to Elizabeth and Edward Smith in Benton Harbor Michigan, she was the oldest of 8 children and she got her wings on October 25, 2016 at 1:40 p.m., she was where she wanted to be the day she flew away, at home in the bed she shared with her husband of 57 years, they shared so many good times and made so many memories that dad will cherish forever, we are all so thankful for the memories.  And to dad, grampa, ole poppa, pops, grandad or Jim, I want to say thank you for loving her and for loving US and showing us what TRUE LOVE and COMMITMENT  means.  You taught us all what a marriage entails and I can never thank you enough for making sure before she left this world she knew what love, respect, honor, loyalty and  happiness was. Dad, YOU ARE THE GREATEST MAN WE HAVE EVER KNOWN and we love you.
