Dear Momoko.  Thank you for all your encouragement and positive support.  You made a huge impact on my life over thirty years.  You were always so generous and happy.  I especially treasure those early years when we had to work in unity to create the first district downtown.  I was also able to meet your wonderful husband during that time. I will always fondly remember all you did for me and the members.  And we will always be grateful to you and embrace you with our prayers for eternity. Much love to you and your husband, who helped so much behind the scenes. Thank you for setting such a great example.

Beautiful MOMOKO was a powerful Ambassador for the Soka Gakkai, Value Creation Society in every area of her life and with every person which she interacted. Unwavering in her commitment, she was one of Soka Gakkai's most invaluable and loving Women's Division Leaders. She was remarkably generous with her time, resources, wit and wisdom. Momoko genuinely enjoyed helping others create a better life through her vision of Nichiren Buddhism. Thank you Momoko for the the time we spent together, you will be sorely missed by me and so many others. I hope you are as near to Nichiren Daishonin as you wish to be. With blessings and gratitude for having known you. Godspeed Momoko

Momoko was one of the most giving and generous people I have ever known. I practiced with her for many years when I lived close to her in Chicago. When my mother died in 2003, Momoko hosted a beautiful memorial for her in her home. I will miss her.

Momoko and the consul general

April 22, 2021
I worked for a company called Pierbusseti and we shared office space with the Consul General of Monaco for the midwest, which was Robert.  This was in the late 1980's.  I had been an SGI member for awhile and was still in youth division.  For the opening reception Momoko dressed in the most gorgeous kimono. For many years after whenever I saw her, she always greeted me most warmly.  We often crossed paths at activities, especially sewing committee.  Always smiling.

My first meeting Momoko

April 18, 2021
My father met Momoko in Japan on a business trip. They fell in love in Japan even though neither one could speak the same language. Other than the language of love.
Momoko followed my father back to Chicago from Japan. Unknown to her she did not know at first that my father had four children. Our first meeting was in Florida. From there we traveled on to the Bahamas for a family vacation. This was our first opportunity for all of us to meet each other. From memory I think this is around 1971
