Morris Michael Cawthon, born to James Peyton Cawthon and Emma Louvenia Hurley

      As my bother, he loved taking cousins and neighbor kids fishing and hunting.
Since he is a bit older than I and our younger brother C.J., he always found time to do something good for us. He gave me a doll for Christmas when I was not even in school and also, a record player when I was 10 years old. He would buy me 45 records to play and they were top 10 hits. Songs he liked. I remember some of them Party Doll, Sillowettes on the Shade.

He also worked after school on a farm close to where we lived when he was old enough and bought his first car , a Crown Victoria, he was so proud of that car.

Mickey joined the National Guard and I remember when he was gone on his manuevers, he left his car for our grandmother to watch after. 


Then he met his first LOVE "Vivian Delores Foote", they were married for a short time as her life was taken October 30, 1957 in a car accident.
 

It was devastating for him but he moved forward. He went to work for an industry "Otis Engineering and that became his career until he retired.  

He found LOVE again and married a wonderful, beautiful lady "Bonnie Vertal" they were married December 29, 1962, having to sons in his life.
