His Life

Oluwole Olusola Shobanjo was born on the 4th of September 1962 in Ibadan at the Jericho Nursing home to the late Albert Olumide Shobanjo and Mrs Christiana Arinola Shobanjo. His father was a civil servant and as such he attended various primary schools due to his Fathers numerous transfers. Some of them are Maryland Convent School Ikeja Lagos, St Benedict Primary School Ibara Abeokuta, Sacred Heart Primary School Onireke Ibadan and finally Abadina School University of Ibadan. He had his Secondary school education st the Loyola College Ibadan from 1975- 1980, where he was nicknamed Shoboi. He is described by his class mates in Loyola as quiet, gentle, a lover of music and a good sense of humour. After his O'levels. He left for the UK to Greyland College in the Isle of Wight  where he studied for his A'levels. He started his University education at Schiller University, an American university  in the UK but due to fears of the acceptability of the degree back home in Nigeria he left after a year. He gained admission to Carthage College Kenosha Wisconsin in the US. 

He graduated with a degree in accounting in 1986. His mother travelled all the way to Kenosha with a retinue of friend and relative for his graduation amongst who were Mrs Dora Tinubu, Mrs Lara Odunjo etc. After is graduation he moved to Los Angeles where he lived for about a year before returning to Nigeria for his NYSC. He served in Ibadan Oyo State with Wemabod estates. After his service year he moved to the UK and worked in accounting. He married in 1988 and lived in Stanmore. He was blessed with two children, Myles and Whitney whom he regarded as the Apple of his eyes.
When his marriage unfortunately ended in 1996 he resided in London to be close to his children but never forget his native country.
When his children were old enough to visit, he spent a number of years in Nigeria but returned to London where he resided with his brother in Liverpool.
Wole was a commited christian and adopted the name Moses, Before he left Nigeria a year and half ago. He was a member of the Deeper lofe church. When he got to Liverpool he sort them out and attended their services. He also worshipped with the victory outreach church and the frontline church both in Liverpool. He loved God passoinate and was very vocal about it and would preach about being truthful and sincere always. He is survived by an aged mother his two children Myles and Whitney, a grandson Myles Jr, 9 siblings and nomerous nieces and nephews.
