Mozelle Scott Hicks was born Mozelle Posey on September 10, 1922.

She was a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother and much more. It is true that she was and will always be one in a million. She was a wife to Dale Hicks, Sr. She was a strong, hardworking woman who touched everyone that met her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; brother, Robert Gosha, grandson, Eddie and nephew, Lorenza. Her life was long and fulfilling. On August 8, 2014, God transformed her by entering her room and taking her to a new and better life. Now in Heaven she will sing, pray, and rejoice all day.

Mozelle is survived by her four loving children, Annie Delois Jones, Union Springs, AL, Dale Hicks, Jr., Montgomery, AL, Rosa Mildred Hicks, Union Springs, AL and Eddie Lee (Helen) Hicks, Warner Robins, GA; three grandchildren, Deborah (James) Milan, David L. Coleman and Ariel E. Hicks, all of Union Springs, AL; four great-granddaughters, Kanesha K. Hicks, Montgomery, AL Dacetti J. and Amari S. Milan, both of Union Springs, AL and Olivia Mozell Hicks, Flint, MI; one sister-in-law, Sarah Gosha, Montgomery, AL; one uncle, Willie Anglin, Sr., Haines City, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
