Mozelle Suitt Montague, 90, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.

A native of Granville County, the daughter of the late Numa Watkins Suitt and Ida Evans and the widow of Lester J. Montague. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Butner, worked at Lee Dye and retired from Murdoch Center.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 23, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Butner by Rev. Charlie Bryan. Burial will follow the service at Elmwood Cemetery in Oxford.

Surviving are two sons, Roy Lester Montague (Tricia) of Stokesdale, Michael Anthony Montague (Sherry) of Raleigh, four grandchildren; Chase Montague, Josh Montague, Todd Parham and Kathryn Montague, two great-grandchildren; Ryan and Emmy Parham and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters; Mary Suitt Gardner, Mildred Suitt Blackley and a brother Thomas Williard Suitt.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 10:00 – 11:00 prior to the service in the Family Life Center of the church and at other times the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Butner or the Ruth Helms Prayer Group, P.O. Box 44, Butner, N.C. 27509.
