To the children and loved ones of uncle Albert Glaze, John 11:33,35 says even Jesus groaned in spirit when Lazarus died and shortly thereafter gave way to tears." So when someone we love dies, it does not show weakness to cry. Please draw strength from Psalms 55:22 which says draw close to God in prayer, and the bible promises that he himself will sustain us, through this difficult time.

Driving at 12

September 4, 2013

I always like to tell the story of my father allowing me to drive at 12.  I think he rode with me once or twice and then gave me the keys.  Please keep in mind that I had three younger sisters in the car with me...we should all have been at DFACS but God protected us as were innocent children having a little fun.

I think that was Albert's way of spoiling/giving of himself.  We would go visit our cousins/aunts/siblings...to this day I don't remember anyone questioning us or Albert.  That was the way things were back then in the Valley...pure and family oriented.

Other than driving, my favorite memories of my father were going fishing, and eating his fried fish.  I don't think anyone can fry fish like Albert.

You will truly be missed...I Love You.

Your daughter

Denise C Harvey
