Harper, Mr. Courtland LaRae, a resident of Valley, AL, died Sunday, November 10, 2013 at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, November 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from The Heard Center at Zion Rest Baptist Church, Valley, AL, Rev. Frederick Stanley, Pastor and Rev. Eddie Reese III, Officiating.

Interment will follow in Hall Memorial CME Church Cemetery Valley, AL. Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley, directing.

Public Viewing is scheduled for Sunday, November 17, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel.

Lil man that's what i use to call him.. way back he was a good kid he was always respectable and quiet when i saw him. i have never heard anyone say he had a problem with anyone. so when i heard what had happen to him. it just got next to me. and it still bothers me why would anyone want to hurt the lil fellow. but anyway to the family he will be missed.
