His Life
March 10, 2019

My dad Evan was in Catherine,  Jamaica to parents ; Alan and Doris Hendricks on June 2nd, 1932. He lived in Jamaica until aged 24 when he migrated to England living there for 20 years,  and then moved to Chicago, Illinois,  USA. His last stop in life was in Miami, Florida, where he met and married his " sweet potato" as he lovingly called his wife, "Patricia Elaine". They were married for 34 years. Before retiring, Evan worked in the garment industry as a garment cutter for 18 years. Evan loved his family dearly and spent many happy hours with them. Such a wonderful and loving husband,  father, grandfather,  godfather, brother, uncle and so much more. He will be deeply missed by each and everyone of us. He was proud of his heritage and loved traveling and in fact traveled to England on several occasions with his wife Patricia where she experienced the Great Britain through his eyes. We're not mourning his death but celebrating his life. His family and friends affectionately called him , "knock-softly ". As we celebrate his life, let us remember all the great times we shared with him.

Rest on Evan........
