Mr. Jimmy L. Jackson, 73, former Mayor and City Councilman of Hogansville died Saturday, May 3, 2014.

Funeral services will be held Saturday May 10, 2014 at 12 Noon at St. Mary United Methodist Church. Pastor Elaine Gilbert will officiate.

Interment will follow in the St. Mary United Methodist Church Cemetery.

we all call him jack at work but to me he was and a man of god he loved everbody that he touched he could tell u soundthing and u could understand it with no problem .u held of the house that jack builded will hogansville ga. is the house that jack build to all of us. with love toney-linda -chad -tj-tywan rhodes may god bless u all.

jack fired me twice in one day for eating. he caught me eating the first time and said if i catch u eating again i am going to fire u . well it was not 10 miontes later he caught me again. he drpped his head and said that  he was to going to call me chichen because i eat all the time and day.what a great man he was.
