johnny was the true meaning of love and friendship. I can barely type through the tears, I loved him with every thoughts of life. I had the gift of re-connecting with him after 30 years and we talked almost daily for hours. He always had my back with great advice , ending with God is always in charge.bye Johnny my most beautiful one and only.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the Darden family on your loss of Johnny. It's at times like this that we need assurance that soon we can look forward to better times ahead according to the promises that find in God's Word the Bible which promises no more sickness, death, mourning or outcry because of losing our loved & the resurrection of the our loved ones. MY BEST FRIEND

July 19, 2013

around this time Johnny and I would spend most of our time together laughing and dancing to Rick James,Prince, all the oldies. He bought me my first record player. One day he came over wearing this suit,I live in the back of his house, moving from Atlanta to West Point was hard, without Johnny I dont think I could have been as happy as I was there. I remember thinking how tall, dark, and handsome. UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN!!
