As I read the poem at your memorial service, something clicked. You and I were born on the same day in the same hospital, went to school together from Elementary to High School and I still couldn't look down and believe that was really you in that casket. I know God doesn't make mistakes. It was and will always be his call. You will truly be missed "Larr" R.I.P.

To the family of Larry Bailey.. You have my deepest sympathy.. God sent us a very special person. Who smiled through his ups and downs.Everytime you would see him he was always smiling. He loved his family, and was a true friend. God makes no mistake it's sad these things have to happen to the good. I'm lost of words right now, but so long my friend.. Until we meet again R.I.P

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.... Carolyn, I can't say that I know how you feel but just know that I am here day and night to talk, laugh, pray and even cry . In your words "trust and believe" that God is watching over Larry and is with you. In your time of need, I hope that I can be to you what you have always been to me .... a true friend. I love you.

I would like to send out my deepest sympathy. Bud was younger than me. But I remember about him was he was quite, polite and loved his mama and it saddens me to know that he's gone too soon. He was my cousin and from what I've read he was a great man whom was loved by many. And left an impression on everyone who met him.R.I.P larry you will be missed.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family on the loss of "Bud", I know that words cannot express your grief & sadness, but please be assured that Jesus promised by means of his Father Jehovah God that we would see our loved ones again according to the Bible God's Word @ Acts 24:15 & John 5:28 &29. Please take comfort in those promises we know that God cannot lie. (Titus 2:1

Childhood memories

May 21, 2013

Wow! Where do I begin? We were always at the Bailey's home when we were growing up as kids. Mrs. Carolyn and Mr. Sweetman, as we used to call them, took a heap of kids in their home and treated them as their own. We played games, ate all the snacks, watched movies, etc... we just had plenty of good times as kids! Even at his grandmother, Mrs. Mackey's home... we were always together as kids. I've always remembered "Bug" as this joyful, loving, funny, joking person and that is all that I will always remember. You know you've lived a great life when you can be remembered only by your smile and good ways. Specifically remembering one of The Cosby Show episodes where they had a kid named Bud on the show and Rudy constantly drug his name whenever she called it... I began calling him(Larry) "Buuuuuggg" and he hated to hear me drag his name for so long...(tears)! This is really going to be one missed guy! Rest In Paradise Bug!!! You will be truly missed but never forgotten!
