McCoy, Mr. Melvin Jr., a resident of Lanett, AL, died Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at his residence.

 Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from Ebenezer Baptist Church, Lanett, AL with Pastor Eugene Cooks officiating.

Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Lanett, AL. Davis Memorial Mortuary staff directing.

Public Viewing is scheduled for Friday, January 11, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Davis Memorial Mortuary.

Gone but never forgotten, Melvin will be trully missed. Everytime I saw him he had a smile on his face and always asked about Maxi and Mkya. Rest In Peace Melvin.....sweet, sweet man.

Uncle Melvin will be truly missed. 
I reflect on my childhood and spending so much time at his and Aunt Maxine's home. He's always had such a sweet spirit...he will be missed!
