Simon, Mr. Philip, a resident of Wedowee, AL and native of Georgia, died Saturday, August 26, 2017 at his residence.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, September 1, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. (EST) from New Unity Missionary Baptist Church, 3675 MLK Jr. Dr., SW, Atlanta, GA with Rev. James E. Hightower officiating.
Interment with Full Military Honors to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park, GA. Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley, AL directing.
Public Viewing is scheduled for Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. (CST) until 6:00 p.m. (CST) at Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel, 305 W. F. Burns Dr., Valley, AL.
The body will lie in repose at the church from 12:00 Noon until Funeral Hour on Friday.
