His survivors include: his wife, Peggy Madden Core; two loving daughters, Quintina (David) Sanders, Columbus, GA and Mona L. Core-Dunn, his primary care-giver, LaGrange, GA; one son, Renfro Joshua (Shakimbreya)Core IV, Tacoma, WA; five granddaughters; five grandsons; one great-grandson; two sisters, Dorothy (Elijah) Johnson, Valley, AL and Alzarene (Raymond) Morgan, Lanett, AL; four brothers, Larry Bell, Milton Core, Terry Core and Darryl Core all of Valley, AL; one aunt, Mary S. Crim Davis, Valley, AL; two uncles, Dave Varner, Lanett, AL and Dewey (Blanche) Varner, Orlando, FL; five sisters-in-law, Jessie Mae (Roger) Walker, Princella Madden, Elizabeth (Jerry) Floyd, Margaret (Jeffery) McCauley and Melody Madden all of Valley, AL; three brothers-in-law, Jefferson (Janice) Madden and Melvin Madden both of Valley, AL and Wallace (Pricilla) Madden, Opelika, AL; two loving and devoted cousins, Jennifer and Thalia Jones; a devoted family friend, Ritae Ziegler, whom Renfro affectionately called "son-in-law"; two life-long best friends, Willie Williams and Calvin Cochran; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
