"Marie, Robert shed so much fun and laughter to everyone, just like Uncle Elmer! The daily jokes he left on FB made us all have a better day! I'm so glad we were able to see yall at the Cousin' Reunion and am so thankful for our AL cousins for going to great lengths to make this happen...Love you much! Jackie"
"Marie, Robert was such a sweet man and brought laughter to everyone around him. I am so happy we were able to reconnect with him at the cousins reunion and get to know your family. He came to visit us in Japan when Barbara and I were in 5th or 6th grade. He was in the service and stopped to see us for about a week. He played card games with us and taught us card tricks. I thought later that that was probably not very exciting for a young airman on leave but that was Robert. He loved family. He will be missed and you all will be reunited in Heaven with him. Love to you all. Debra"
