T.H. "Ham" Whetstone was born Feb. 19, 1931 to the late T. Ellis and Flossie Whetstone in Coosa County, AL.

He joined Corinth Baptist Church at an early age.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, four brothers and son Terry "Lil Ham" Whetstone.

He departed this life on May 12, 2012, at his residence.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife Inez Whetstone, 10 Children: Jimmy (Latona) Whetstone, Kellyton, AL, Vickie (Willie) Smith, Goodwater,AL, Sandra (Michael) Coley, Sylacauga, AL, Virginia Young, Knoxville, TN, Ramona (Chris) Heard, Alex City, AL , Cedric Huntley, Pelham, AL, Andre (Robin) Whetstone, Alex City, AL, Vanessa Huntley, Dadeville, AL and Walter Bankston of Dayton, Ohio. 6 Sisters: Johnnie Mae Black, Minnie Hickerson, Willie Pearl Jackson, Temple Maxwell, Alice Whetstone, Corine Williams. 4 Sister-In-Laws & 4 Brother-In-Laws. Twenty-two Grandchildren, Twenty-two-Great Grand children, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. A special neighbor and friend Troy Benson.
