Jimmie accepted Christ at a young age and joined St. Mary Baptist Church, Haines City, Florida.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Brown and two daughters, Queen E. Brown and Lucy Brown.

Mrs. Jimmie Brown leaves to cherish her memory, a niece she lived with, Mary Thomas; great niece, Sonia (Bennie) Harris of Atlanta, GA; two sons, John Brown of Madison, FL, Phillip (Mozell) Brown of Greenville, GA; eight grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; caregiver, Veola Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; and a special friend who will miss her, Mrs. Pearl Peacock.
