Mrs. Goodwin was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Goodwin, Jr. and eight siblings.

Her survivors include: four children, W. Dean (Marvin) Thomas, Blythewood, SC, Brunette Phillips, Newnan, GA, Danny (Brenda) Goodwin and Fred Goodwin both of Wedowee, AL; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one brother, Charlie (Sue) Parker, Wedowee, AL; sisters-in-law, Rebecca Parker and Katherine (Pastor Curtis) Spidell both of Wedowee, AL; one brother-in-law, Richard Goodwin; and, a host of nieces, nephews other loving relatives and friends, including a special friend, Julie Houston, Bowdon, GA.
