Mrs. Reese was born February 22, 1954 to the late John and Mary Kate Busby Lowe.

Her survivors include: her husband, Shelley Reese, Louisville, KY; two children, Corterris Reese, Louisville, KY and Arkedra Reese, Norfolk, VA; one grandchild, Shantanae Reese; brothers, John Lowe, Jr. and Elias Lowe both of Valley, AL, Charles (Brenda) Lowe, Atlanta, GA, Rev. Ronnie (Debra) Lowe, Opelika, AL and Terry Reed, St. Petersburg, FL; sisters, Linda (Nelson) Huguley, Alberta Lowe and Brenda Williams all of Valley, AL and Janice Reed, Lanett, AL; parents-in-law, Willie and Mary Reese, Louisville, KY; brothers-in-law, Melvin Reese, Frankie Reese and Timothy Reese all of Louisville, KY; sisters-in-law, Dean Lowe, Miami, FL, Tammy (Jeffrey) Anthony and Stacy Reese both of Louisville, KY; and, a host of nephews and nieces including special niece, Belinda St. George.
