My Friend
Micki, You and I have gone back a long way, actually fifty-five years. We lost touch when you moved to Georgia, in distance but, not in my heart. The time we spent with the girls going to parks or just being at each others homes was good. We always laugh about being pregnant with Debi and Kathie and we sent my others outside and ate popcicles because it was August and we were so hot. We were expecting the same day and ended up in the same room and they tried switching babies but we knew the difference, I think. lol Kathie always loved you in a very special way. The time I spent in March with you at your home was such a blessing to me! You and I went through some tough times together and it was great having you by my side. You were a very special lady and I'm glad I had you as my sister-in-law and my friend. I know we will see each other again so it's not good-by forever just see you in a little while, save me a spot at the table. Love you Jean
My beautiful Aunt Micki
My beautiful Aunt Micki. I have so many great memories of you as I was growing up. You were a very important part of my childhood as I was growing up. I loved spending time at your house, we had so much fun. You and Mom would be visiting and us kids would ask if we could do a kid swap. It was never for only one night. I willnever forget the day when Lauri told me that there was a fresh spring under your driveway. We decided we wanted to swim so we spent most of the day trying to dig up your asphalt driveway. You tried to be angry with us. We heard you say in that voice of yours, girls! Then you chuckled that chuckle of yours that I will never forget. Many times we all would use a can of Pledge on your kitchen floor so we could ice skate in our socks. It's amazing that no one broke their neck though my dad (Russ) almost did one time! You always treated me like one of your own when I was around. On Friday nights you took us to Eagle Store and we would each pick out our own special TV dinners and we wound go home and watch The Donny and Marie Show while our Barbies were at the drive-in theater. I can remember waking up in the mornings to find that you had already been up for several hours either working on a sewing project or painting ceramics. I was always interested in seeing for what you're newest sewing project was. You were so tiny that we would play house and dress up in your clothes. I wanted to be a career woman just like you. I remember feeling like Cinderella in the dress you made me for my senior prom. could go on and on. Jim, thank you for putting up with me and allowing us to bug you like we always did. I am so thankful, Aunt Micki that you invited Jesus to come into your life and be your Saviour. I know that you are now in Heaven with Jesus. I know that you are no longer in pain as you have a brand new body. I look forward to seeing you again someday. I'm not saying goodbye but until later. I love you! ♡
