Odena was a 1960 graduate of Rehobeth High School. She retired, after 25 years of service, from West Point Stevens. She also worked for Days Inn in Lanett, AL. She enjoyed and loved her special Radio Host Celebrity of WPLV 1310, Bro. Johnny Hill.
Her survivors include: two sons, McKenneth Martin (Teresa) Cooks, Valley, AL and Tommie Lee (Amanda) Cooks, Jr., West Point, GA; one daughter, Sandra Cooks, Orlando, FL; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Tommie (Daisy) Alford, Opelika, AL, Hervy Gene Alford and Willie Joe (Patsy) Alford, Jr. both of Lanett, AL; one loving and devoted sister, Ida Alvis, Lanett, AL; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends including her pastor, Rev. Arthur Thomas and her church family.
