Adieu great Woman. You are missed for now . I missed meeting you!
Post humous birthday ! You sleep peacefully while your assailants continue to be sleepless and eroded of peace. No joy in their abode , while God in His Faithfulness continue to make all hers at peace
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

60 HEARTY CHEERS TO A MATRIARCH
Though you lay in silence
We are loud on her virtues
Though you lay in mortality
You are immortalized in our hearts
Though you died of cruelty
You decided to smile in death
With mortals you were angelic
In horror you were humorous
In death, you rose to live in us
In war, you gave us peace
In motherhood you nurtured all
Your words soft and soothing
Peace you had
Peace you gave
Ma Omotuyi
A seed sown in tears
An oil poured on troubled waters
For a harvest of peace and progress
At 60
You are sweeter
In death as in life
Your memorial is a menu
Scintillating and captivating
We shall keep your candle aglow
In rain to reign
In wind to wield your influence
A light for MLS.

The Bible says that the entire memory of the Just is blessed and the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. Amen Fade Fade each earthly joy Jesus is mine. Break every tender tie, Jesus is mine. Dark is the wilderness earth has no resting place Jesus alone can blessed Jesus is mine.
Olufunke Omotuyi - May you rest on in peace in the embracing arms of your ancestors. It never makes sense that man should be so wicked to his fellow man...to take another's life for no apparent good reason. May God comfort your friend's and family as you live on forever in their hearts. I am saddened by this news story.
Funke, i must confess your untimely death from the hand of a supposedly human being blew me away. Its been a while i saw you last but i still had you tucked away in my heart till last Saturday when I read this dastardly act on line. What can one say to this?Mans inhumanity to man. Whoever did this will never have peace until he goes 6 feet under in a more horrible way than he did to a peace loving person like you amen. May your beautiful, peace loving soul rest in perfect peace. May light perpetual shine on your loving soul. God will console your family and loved ones and give them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Funke Omotuyi go well. May God avenge your painful death to the fourth generation of those who have hands in your untimely death.
We love you so much but God love you much more till we meet to part no more, rest on mama. We are proud of you, your legacy leaves on even after your departure from the sinfull world.
...God knows all! He'll Comfort and bridge the gap your untimely demise has created in the life of your family, friends and colleagues!
Only the words in life we have spoken, only the seeds in seedtime have sown, these will pass onward when we are forgotten, fruits of the harvest and what we have done. Only remembered, we shall be remembered, thus we will pas from this earth and its toiling, only remembered by what we have done.

The wound created by your demise may take forever to heal. The vacuum that your sudden departure created is too deep and wide to be filled in a hurry. You are such an epitome of virtues. Your humility and adorable temperament will for ever remain fresh in my memory. I delightfully calls you Aunty while you simply call me Prof., in a way that is unique and perculiar to our relationship. Inducting our students at UNILAG was one of your first official assignment as the Ag. Registrar and our brief discussion on phone late last month, just before I travelled out of the Country was my last contact with your soft and always caring voice. How would I have imagine that these will be my last contacts with you? How on earth would I have thought that I will return to Nigeria never to see you again? My consolation is that your faith will stand for you and you will surely enjoy an eternal rest in a better cosmos. Let the author(s) of this evil leave forever in the valley of their evil. At least, let them leave long enough to harvest the fruits of their wickedness. Adieu Aunty!
"Maam Omotuyi" like u're fondly called by me. It's so sad that you have to leave this world in such a manner, but I know u're already resting in the bosom of God almighty. Rest on m, we love you, but God loves you more
It really came as a shock when I heard that our registrar Mrs Olufunke Omotuyi is no more. Ma, as you've left this wicked world, may God Almighty grant your family, friends and all Scientist the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss and may your gentle soul rest in perfect peace in God's bosom. Adieu Ma.
Mummy, You stood for the right thing. You made sacrifice for the Profession to leave. You lived a fulfilled life. The devil is a liar!!! RIP.
A Tribute to a mother who is beautiful inside -out
Although I never had the opportunity to meet you ma, but people who did have cried and are still crying for your bitter departure.I'm sad because your likes are hard to come-by. However we are consoled in the word of God which says that in every condition, we shall give thanks to HIM. May you find rest in your maker, and may He comfort your family and all those who are mourning your death. Adieu ma'am and rest in peace. Amen
