We respectfully announce the passing of Mrs. Oretha Burston of Lone Oak, Georgia on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Southern Regional Hospital in Riverdale, Georgia.
Funeral services for Mrs. Oretha Burston will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, Feb 3, 2018, at St. Paul C.M.E. Church in Lone Oak. Rev. Carlton Mahone, Pastor and Apostle Brenda Osby, eulogist.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Thankful for the Blessings God has bestowed upon our family to have 96 years of memories with my great-aunt Oretha. There will always be a warm place in my heart for you auntie and I will cherish our time and those memories forever!

As I head home after a beautiful Celebration of life, my heart is rejoicing knowing that I have no regrets. We did our best to serve her and we did everything to keep her smiling. We will forever be grateful for the time we had with her (61 for me). By the pouring out of love expressed today, it is evedent that she made a great impact on so many people. Gramp, rest in heaven, I love you. Your "peaches" Sadie.

Grandma Retha as she was affectionately called by my greatneices and greatnephews wasvsuvh a sweet and beautiful person. I will surely miss that beautiful smile.
