Tribute to Moomi
It was with deep sorrow I received the news of your demise, you have been my mother long before you became my mother-in-law, you were so loving and kind, always smiling with a good sense of humor, “oko ori mi” as you fondly called me made me feel like a King each time we talked. You will forever be in my heart “Moomi”. You always asked after the kids and my welfare each time talked. You were always neat, fashionable and highly accommodating. Continue to rest on “Moomi” till the last day.

How I wish I could turn back time to see you once more before saying Goodbye. Your death broke my heart I still find it hard to believe such a cheerful soul and jovial mother is no more, my heart is broken because I can't understand why someone so precious, had to die.

Mama, it's so hard to say goodbye. You were such a beautiful soul - beautiful in and out. You have so much love to share with everyone that comes in contact with you, including those of us that were friends to your children. I visited you the last time I was in Nigeria, and you were as radiant and beautiful as ever. I never knew that will be the last. Wow! Heaven has gained a beautiful soul. I pray for strength for your children and the entire family that you left behind. Adie mama, rest on till the resurrection morning.

Mother's hold their children's hands for a while, but their hearts forever. I truly never learned what the words 'I miss you' were until I reached for my mom's hand and it wasn't there. In life, we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place, no one else will ever fill. MAMA ONI INU RE - WE LOVE YOU

Tribute To A Superwoman

Mama,
It's hard to put to words how amazing a mother you were, you were more to me a mother than a grandmother. I'll never really be ready to say goodbye to you, not even in hundred years, i only wished you stayed a little longer to see your prayers come to fulfilment over me. Maami  thank you for making my childhood filled with sweet memories of your love and care. Though you are no longer with us physically, but your place in our hearts will forever be void. I'll forever miss you my beautiful Mama. Its a great privilege to have been raised by you.....Adieu Mama till we meet to part no more....... Sun Re ooo

My beautiful grandma with the big heart and gorgeous smile. Your death was soo sudden and it truly broke my heart. I only wished you stayed longer to see me like we planned, to see me get married and have your great grand children but God knows best and what gives me such comfort is that you loved God and you made it known to others especially your children and grandchildren. The void you have left in our hearts can never been replaced but we will relieve in the memories that we all have. Even though we haven’t seen in over 10 years, your presence was never missing because of your daughter that loves you dearly.
Ahh grandma, your daughter loves you, she loves you very much but God loves you more. Please look after her, protect her.

I take comfort in knowing that I have a beautiful angel protecting and watching over all of us.

Grandma, I love you very much..till we meet again❤️

Maami, the few years I got to know you was so amazing. You were not my mother in-law but you were my mother. You took me as your daughter and not as wife. You never for once pressured me. You welcomed me with open arms into Ayodele’s family. When I was pregnant of Damian, you prayed for me, encouraged me, cheered me up throughout my pregnancy. Maami, abiyamo tooto, iya oninu ire. I will forever cherish those moments we shared together. Thank you for birthing my husband and training him in the way of the Lord. You will forever be in our hearts. Sleep well till we meet at the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I never thought this day could come sooner,
I never thought my son, Damian wont get to see his Grandma.
My heart bleeds upon hearing the sad news of your demise.
No word can describe how much you are missed.
Dear mother, you are someone who had strenght beyond strenght.
And faith beyond faith.
Right now, you are amongst the angels.
Flying high above the sky and with your Love still watching over us.
Good night maami till we meet again.

My beautiful grandma with the best smile, your death came suddenly & unexpectedly. I only wished you stayed with us just a little longer. I am consoled with the fact that you were a true believer and follower of God till the end and you’re now with your creator. Since your demise, I have been relieving all the beautiful memories shared with you especially weekends spent with you whilst I was at University in Ado-Ekiti. Memories of eating pounded yam & your efo-riro/Okra soup (which is the best hands down) with a chilled bottle of Fanta, going to mass together on Sunday before leaving for school in evening. I am particularly happy you got to meet & speak to my husband & daughter (via video call) before the tragic incident. Though, I would have loved that we came to visit you as promised. I love you forever granny, words will never be enough to express how much I’ll miss you. Rest in Paradise Grandma.

Dear Grandma,

I will miss your beautiful smile, your sensational voice, the way you call me “Ademisweet” when I speak with you, oh death! Where is thy sting!
I will cherish all the memories I have with you, I will hold on to them so close to my heart. I recall when you stayed with us in london and you would make us laugh so much, my fashionista grandma. I will miss you sooo much, I’m sorry death took you away. We were meant to see, you would have lifted me up, I will miss your warm hugs, I have continuously pictured everything that I would have shared with you grandma. It’s such a tragedy how you where taken from us. Your great grandson was so excited to see you in person. Unfortunately we propose but God disposes.

I’m grateful that you saw my son and husband via video calls, I’m thankful that you spoke with my husband and you called him your son. It’s been such a devastating time for us but we know God knows best. I’m fulfilled knowing that you had a great life, you were particularly close to God, I use the term “Mother Mary” when I speak of you. I take comfort that you are sitting at the Right hand of God, singing with the angels and smiling down at us.
Please look after and protect my mum, your daughter. She loves you so much and she has lost her Best Friend. Comfort her, visit her from time to time so she knows you are her guarding angel.

Till we meet Again Grandma Victoria. I love you forever and ever. “Afe e sugbon Jesu fe o ju sun re sun re sun re” continue to rest in the perfect blossom of the Most High...

Your Grand Daughter,
Ademidun Iyanda

Mama Ayodele, you came, you saw and you conquered. You were an epitome of care, love, kindness, generosity, humility and enviable leadership. No wonder all your children and their seed represent good deeds in all their way. May the good Lord rest your gentle soul in his bosom eternally and grant your family the fortitude to bear the loss. Fare thee well.

I can still remember when I heard the news. It's so sad we lost you in that way. Your sudden death came as a shock. God in his infinite wisdom knows best.
I think of how you call me... "Adeola miiii" omo Martini.... You will be greatly missed wife of Late Julius Ayodele ....aka.. daddy Hilltop ... my loving, humble, caring, wonderful, good heart and soul uncle.... the death of your wife brought your remembrance to me ....
"Momi oke ile" ...popularly called by my elder ones.... we love you mum, grandma.... and you will always be forever in our hearts. May God almighty keep you safe resting in perfect peace till resurrection day. Amen

I was once told there is no armour against fate. How I wish we could be masters of our fate. As we see, the beauty of birth is extinguished by the tragedy of death. In fact, life and death are paradoxes that defile human understanding
