Ms. Dominique Edie Jackson was born March 26, 1992 to the parentage of Eddie L. Alberty and Amy D. Jackson in Michigan.

Dominique a resident of Auburn, AL and formerly of Valley, died Thursday, September 18, 2014 at her residence in Auburn, AL.

Dominique was known for her beautiful smile and her very independent mindset that enjoyed music, shopping, bible study and all things that defines the "girly girl". Though diagnosed with "Spinocerebellar ataxia" that didn't stop her from doing what she loved and enjoyed best. She was a proud 2010 graduate of Lanett High school. Dominique also served as a TLC Outreach Ministries usher and dance team member.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Her survivors include:  her mother, Amy L. Jackson, Auburn, AL; three sisters, Salena Jackson and Karlisa Jackson both of Auburn and Shavez (Ramone) Astin, Jacksonville, FL; three brothers, Demetrius Jackson, Lanett, AL, Eddie Rich and A'Vondrick Hackworth both of Detroit, MI; maternal grandparents, Andrew and Patricia Trammell Jackson, Lanett, AL; paternal grandparents, Eddie and Lillian Newson Alberty, Detroit, MI; and, a host of aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
